Role Summary/Purpose
The Project Lead Engineer will ensure the technical correctness and timely preparation of the engineering deliverables for the assigned project(s ), provide technical mentoring of the team and ensure the customers specifications are fulfilled.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Work with MCS leadership team and project teams to capture the team requirements/ expectations and exceed commitments through personal effort and leadership.
  • Drive the peer review process rigor, and leveraging of best practices within the team
  • Enhance system perspective of the assigned design team
  • Provide technical leadership for design reviews, peer reviews, and design practices
  • Work closely with the MCS Chief Engineer in area of expertise.
  • Remain cognizant of state-of-the-art in area of expertise
  • Support mentoring of engineers, individuals and teams, including global GE

    Qualifications/Requirements
  • MSc or BSc in in Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of engineering experience, and a minimum of 5 years subsea experience within diverless connection systems, remote intervention and installation.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.
  • Knowledge to rules and regulations witin the Oil & Gas industry ( ISO, ASME, API)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Highly proactive and results oriented
  • Strong analytical skills combined with excellent problem solving skills
