As a Sales Representative in our Nordic Products & Distribution team you will be responsible for the sale and promotion of all our building automation products across Norway to the broader technical market involved in building construction and automation, which mainly refers to technical contractors, service providers, ventilation companies & HVAC contractors. You will be based in our office in Oslo and must be willing to travel.
You will drive and deliver a revenue and product sales target, targeting new business and maximising opportunities within our existing customer base, building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and using company defined sales processes & tools.
  • Promotes Johnson Controls Products to customers by understanding and linking the customer’s needs, requirements and business objectives to Johnson Controls products in order to provide a total value solution and competitive advantage for our customers.
  • Build and manage long-term customer relationships/partnerships and responsible for customer satisfaction through executing the sales process.
  • Responsible for meeting the sales targets and creating profitable growth within the defined area of responsibility
  • Map potential customers and generate leads and new opportunities
  • Promote, motivate, coach and develop the customers
  • Provide Info and training sessions by presenting our Products and solutions to customers 

Your Required Skills & Experience
To join this passionate and driven business to business sales team it is essential that you have a proven track record of selling technical products into the building construction and automation industry, ideally building automation and controls components.
Your application will be considered if you can demonstrate:

  • Successful track record from a sales position within a technical market
  • Proven ability to develop & execute sales activities
  • Comfortable & experienced in developing both new and existing customers
  • Experienced in taking products to market and run promotional activities
  • Experience in utilizing applicable sales tools effectively to plan and document progress as well as to increase business growth.
  • Strong sales drive and a hunter mentality
  • Tireless and results driven mentality, able to continually critique and optimise performance.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
